Child Evangelism Fellowship of Clark County
We are a non-denominational, Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. CEF has been in existence for over 80 years. Statistics show that 85% of adult Christians today came to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ before the age of fourteen. Last year over 19.8 million children worldwide heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. In 2001 the U.S. Supreme Court granted Child Evangelism Fellowship access to public schools. Consequently, this is a major mission field for our ministry. Here in Clark County, we are currently in only 8 of 67 possible area public schools. That’s only about 12%. With your help that number can increase so more children can hear the gospel message. Approximately $75 per child per year is needed to fund training for a qualified adult volunteer to teach an after school Good News Club. That money will also provide curriculum, snacks, and other materials needed to help make a club successful. Can you help us reach more children for Christ? The time for outreach is now. The needs are many, and the harvest is ripe.
