Hunger For Success
Through community partnerships, donors, and the effort of staff and volunteers, to promote access to a college education, professional development, and job placement assistance for members of the community with low income and nourishing minds out of poverty.™
Out of the 920,000 people served by the Oregon Food Bank, 74% live below the Federal poverty level, and only 27% have a full time job. Through research, we know that higher education and training allow people to live above the Federal poverty level. At HUNGER FOR SUCCESS™, WE ARE feeding ambition, hope, and change for those we serve.™ We want to help High School-aged (College-ready) youth and adults obtain critical tools and training to help them complete an education, find a family wage job, and keep that job over time. All of our services to those living in poverty are free. Your financial support allows us to provide online training, books, in person workshops, and mentoring resources needed to accomplish our goals. As little as $10 helps. We want thank you for learning about what we do and considering supporting to our mission.
