Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership
The Lower Columbia Estuary Partnership brings together local people and groups to care for the lower Columbia River. Business people, students, families, farmers, and fisherman – all join in to ensure a vibrant economy and a healthy environment. We restore habitat for salmon and wildlife. We protect clean water. We teach students about their watershed and we connect the community to local natural areas through volunteer tree plantings and on-water paddling experiences.
When students learn outside, they are more excited to learn, remember more, and are more connected to their community. But many schools lack the resources to teach students outdoors. We fill that need by offering outdoor science experiences to thousands of students each year at no charge. Your donation gets Clark County students outdoors to learn about the local environment and take action to improve natural areas.
