Northwest Association for Blind Athletes
Our Mission: To provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
Northwest Association for Blind Athletes is embarking on significant organizational expansion to more effectively meet the unique needs of children, youth, adults and military veterans who are blind and visually impaired across Clark County, WA and the rest of our region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana). We are currently working on the following strategic initiatives: • Sports Outreach Program Expansion – We are working to expand our Sports Outreach Program into new geographic areas and deepen service impact through increased on-going, consistent, high-quality programming to support our goal of ensuring every single individual with a visual impairment in our region is receiving our services on a consistent basis. • Video Resource Library – With the addition of a comprehensive video resource library on sports adaptations (guide running, PE adaptations, etc.) NWABA will position itself as a national leader and the only organization in the nation providing this level of service delivery. Please contact Billy Henry, Founder & Executive Director, at 360-718-2826 to learn more about how you can support any of the initiatives above or other program activities. Together, we can change lives and make a difference! Thank you for your time and consideration. Please join us by making a tax-deductible gift on Thursday, September 21st!
