St. Vincent de Paul
Inspired by the Gospel values of charity and compassion for all, and in an effort to promote human dignity, the Vancouver Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul provides food, clothing, shelter and other forms of assistance to people in need without regard to race, gender, color, sexual orientation or religion.
Each month we receive over 300 calls for rental and utility assistance. There has been a 19% increase in need this past year. In 2016, with rent increases, we saw an increase of 35% rental assistance need. We were able to assist 162 families with rent and emergency shelter in the amount of $60,225.00. Please consider funding this area of need for rental assistance in our community. Thank you.
